Golfmark
Golfmark is a national scheme that identifies and recognises junior and beginner-friendly golf facilities. The three key areas that are assessed are coaching and playing, club environment (including sports equity and ethics) and child protection & duty of care.

Clubhouse Awards 2008
The Clubhouse Magazine (Alchemy Media) runs these prestigious awards for the golf industry on an annual basis. Burhill Golf and Leisure were nominated in 4 categories for the 2008 awards and were thrilled to win the following categories:

Chef of the Year – Andrew Owen, Burhill Golf Club. Andrews dedication and talent has earned Burhill Golf Club the reputation of offering the best clubhouse food in Surrey, in particular an outstanding seafood menu.

Community Club of the Year – Birchwood Park Golf Centre. For their commitment to the development of junior golf through their schools golf programme and their continuous community projects within the Horizones Fitness Club.

Golf Group of the Year - Burhill Golf and Leisure were offered a commendation in this category.
